Mr. Sunil Paswan, an ex-student of PUC & BCom from GRV PU College & GRV Business Management Academy from the academic year 2012-17, has been chosen as our next Alumni success story for all the achievements he has had till now.
A simple boy with hesitation and a slight fear towards public speaking and presentations at the initial stages was able to successfully eliminate all the hurdles through the help of the platform provided by GRV. He not only gained a lot of stage presence and courage but also took up a career as a professional DJ and an event manager who always works in front of a colossal amount of people. He is one of the top DJs of Bangalore known by the name "DJ Guddu".
Mr. Sunil joined GRV in 2012 for PUC under the combination of CEBA. After his admission, he was introduced to a lot of lecturers and he was especially introduced to Mrs. Neena, Assistant professor in GRV PU college by the administrator. Through her guidance and support, Mr. Sunil was able to get rid of all his hesitations and apprehensions to stand in front of the crowd and perform wherever he wished for. While he started his education in GRV he watched a lot of DJs such as DJ Hussain, DJ Sid play and was extremely inspired by them. He started learning the art of DJ by himself and by 2nd PUC he became quite good at it. Through the help of Mr. Rajendra, who is the manager of the Chairman's Club, he became a club DJ and started getting a lot of offers and even started earning from it. But there was a turning point in Mr. Sunil's life. While he was in 2nd PU, he met Mr. Sharath, who introduced him to the vast corporate world. The real talent which Mr. Sunil had was recognized by Mr. Sharath and made him get into corporate DJing from club DJing through his private proprietorship firm "Concept". Mr. Sunil started working with Mr. Sharath in all the corporate fields and eventually became a partner with Mr. Sharath and started as an event manager and Operations incharge in the same company now. He also worked as an intern in a company called "Jade Hospitainment" as a marketing executive to upgrade his skills and be better at what he did.
He says that the support he got from GRV PU college and degree college made him explore a lot more in his education and his corporate career simultaneously. All the lecturers made his educational experience serene and supported him to participate in multiple shows while he was studying.
Mr. Sunil as mentioned before is presently one of the top DJs in Bangalore where he has performed all over India in multiple metropolitan cities and in various five-star hotels. He performs in front of more than 1500 people on average and has also worked with one of the top DJs of India, DJ Jasmeet. He has even played at Hammered for NYE in 2018. He has had a contract under "Wizcraft PVT LTD" from past one year and has been continuously performing for them.
This talented individual considers Mr. Gururaj Sir, President of GRV, and Mrs. Poonam Gururaj, administrator of GRV as his inspiration. He believes that along with our degree, we should be open to all the career opportunities outside our education and explore those areas too. None of the opportunities should be missed. Traditional education is important along with the latest job opportunities and platforms. No one should hesitate to try new things. If one works hard, with dedication and perseverance, success is easy to achieve. His main piece of advice to all the students is to not depend on one source of income and should have multiple sources in life.
