On the 1st of October 2024, GRV Business Management Academy organized a campus cleaning drive with the aim of enhancing the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the campus while educating students on the importance of maintaining a clean environment. The initiative was led by the Student Council and it saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and administrative staff. Groups were responsible for cleaning classrooms, arranging desks, and ensuring that waste paper and other materials were disposed of in designated bins.
Participants cleaned the garden area, removed weeds, and planted new saplings. The activity aimed to create a greener and more visually appealing environment. Faculty members conducted a brief session on the importance of waste segregation and recycling, encouraging participants to sort waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories. The cleaning drive resulted in a noticeably cleaner campus and instilled a sense of responsibility among the students. It also served as a platform to discuss the long-term benefits of maintaining cleanliness and how individual efforts contribute to a larger environmental cause.
Participants expressed their commitment to making this a regular event and promoting sustainable practices within and outside the campus. It not only improved the physical appearance of the campus but also fostered a spirit of teamwork and environmental consciousness among participants. Such initiatives are crucial in building a culture of cleanliness and responsibility in educational institutions.
