Seminar on Financial Literacy in Banking Sector was organized by GRV Business Management Academy in collaboration with Bank of Baroda. The resource person for the day was Mr. Reyyi Praveen Kumar (Senior Manager, Bank of Baroda). The program was witnessed by Mr. Gururaj Mansabdar (President, GRV Group of Institution), Mrs. Poonam Sabarwal (Secretary, GRV Group of Institution), Mr. Rahul Mansabdar (Director, GRV Business Management Academy), Mr. Munir Ahmed (Director, Academics GRV Business Management Academy) and Prof. Jayanthi (Principal, GRV Business Management Academy). Mr Reyyi Praveen Kumar had briefed about the Banking system in India and its structure, he also highlighted the importance of banking in this cashless economy, and he explained various types of Banking and its function and their contributions towards the economic growth of the country. He also highlighted on various educational loan facilities available for the students to continue their studies without any financial glitches and he also advised on how the students can take the benefit of these loans to continue their studies in India and in Abroad. At the end of the session the students were able to know about the functioning of the banking system in India and how best they can utilize the benefit given by banks to continue their education.
