Trip Report: GRV Business Management Academy Field Trip to Gokarna and Honavar

The GRV Business Management Academy organized a thrilling field trip to Gokarna and Honavar from June 4th to June 6th, 2023 with Sai tours and travels. The trip included sightseeing activities, such as visiting beaches, historical sites like Mirjan Fort, and religious sites like the Murdeshwar Temple. Additionally, an industrial visit to a small-scale industry was incorporated into the itinerary. This report provides an overview of the trip's itinerary and experiences.
The field trip began June 4th evening at 4:00 PM when we departed from the college premises. The students were filled with anticipation and excitement as we embarked on our journey to Gokarna and Honavar. After a comfortable overnight journey, we reached Kumta on the morning of June 5th. Our first stop was the famous OM Beach in Gokarna. The serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings of the beach provided the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. We spent some quality time on the beach, taking in the beautiful views and engaging in beach activities. Afterward, we had a d breakfast to energize ourselves for the day ahead. We visited the historic Mirjan Fort, known for its architectural brilliance. The fort fascinated us with its intricate carvings and historical significance. We explored the fort premises and listened to captivating stories from our guide, immersing ourselves in the rich history of the region. Afterward, we relaxed and had lunch near fort . In the afternoon, we traveled to Honavar for an exciting backwater boating experience. The boat ride allowed us to appreciate the natural beauty of the region and provided a unique perspective on the local ecosystem. The serene backwaters and lush green surroundings created a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. As the day drew to a close, we made our way to the renowned Murdeshwar Temple. The temple's grandeur and the towering statue of Lord Shiva left us awe-inspired. We participated in the temple rituals, sought blessings, and explored the temple complex. We also had a dinner before retiring for the night. On the final day 6th June 2023, we started our journey back to Bangalore and reached our destination by 10:00 AM. We returned with cherished memories, new knowledge, and a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural and historical heritage of Gokarna and Honavar.
The field trip organized by the GRV Business Management Academy to Gokarna and Honavar was a remarkable experience. The combination of sightseeing activities, industrial visit, and cultural exploration provided students with practical insights into business management and a deeper understanding of the region's history and spirituality.
