GRV Business Management Academy has conducted Industrial visit to Modern Bread Factory, Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore, on the above mentioned date for the academic year 2019-20 where faculties Mrs. Kokila.N, Mr. Nagaraj Kini and Ms. Samreen accompanied the students.

Industrial visit is a part of professional courses, during which students visit companies/industry and get insight of on the internal working environment of the company. Industry visits sensitize students to the practical challenges that organizations face in the business world.

Students were introduced to the working of food factory by explaining the cleanliness to be maintained while entering food processing units. The manager of factory took for round inside the whole factory and explained d storage of food materials and clean environment in store rooms.

Students also witnessed the high speed flour mixers and moulds along with high temperature bread baking ovens.

Students keenly observed and learnt the procedure to maintain quality and packaging of breads.

Outcome

• Students got opportunity for interactive learning experience in class as well as outside class.
• With this industry visit students are better able to identify their perspective towards the working of overall organization function.
• Industrial visit gave students an opportunity to increase the interpersonal communication and skills.
• Students became more aware towards the industry practices and regulations during the industrial visit.
• Students also became aware about maintain the cleanliness and quality of foods in food processing industries.
