The MBA Induction Programme at GRV BMA, held on 14th December 2024, was an enlightening and interactive session designed to prepare students for their academic journey and beyond.
The event began with a welcome address by the Principal of GRV BMA, who inspired the students to embrace learning with enthusiasm and commitment. She highlighted the importance of skill development, research, learning is a continuous process and collaboration during the MBA program to achieve professional excellence.
Dr. Uma Maheshwari, a distinguished academician, was the resource person for the day who led a session on research methodology. She elaborated on the importance of writing research papers, emphasizing how they contribute to the academic and professional growth of students. She discussed the various types of research, the steps involved in conducting meaningful research, and the impact of well-written papers in building credibility and adding value to one’s career. Her session included a hands-on activity, where students actively engaged with the research process, gaining practical insights into drafting and structuring research papers.
The programme also featured a session by Nagraj Kini, Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, who provided a detailed overview of the MBA curriculum. He explained the course structure, subject categorization, assessment criteria, and the opportunities available for students to enhance their learning and skillsets.
