Krishi mela, an extremely well known agricultural fair was organized by the University of Agricultural Science Bengaluru from 11th to 14th November at GKVK Campus, Bengaluru. The event was inaugurated by Karnataka's Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. This auspicious event displayed all the latest agricultural technologies for the benefit and knowledge of all the farmers and agricultural institutions who had arrived there.
It included form machinery, agricultural and irrigational technology. As, many as 10 new crop varieties and 28 new form technologies were released at the event. Visitors admired a pair of bullocks that were on display along with other livestock such as various types of hens, sheep, and crop worms on the second day of the event.
NSS faculty coordinators such as Prabhanjan N, Vijayalakshmi H.S, Kavitha A, along with 26 students from 5th Sem B.Com and BBA had visited this fair on 13th November 2021. All the students imbibed knowledge about agriculture, irrigation and its technology and this activity of NSS was a fully successful one.
All the students were back by 3:00PM with lots of inspiration, motivation and encouragement which moved the mass.
