GRV BMA College hosted CHIGURU 2.0 – Cultural Week from 21st to 26th September 2026, celebrating the vibrant spirit of creativity, culture, talent and togetherness. The six-day celebration provided students with a lively platform to express themselves, discover their talents and participate in a wide range of cultural, creative and recreational activities.
Each day unfolded with a unique theme and engaging events such as Flower Rangoli, Bouquet Making, Pot Breaking, Blindfolded Makeup, Tattoo Design, Pitch Ball, Mix and Match, Cooking Without Fire, Dumb Charades, Arm Wrestling, Mehndi, Poster Making, Best Out of Waste, Face Painting, Murder Mystery, Tug of War, Singing, Dancing, Musical Chair and Guess What Is in the Box. The enthusiastic participation of students added colour and energy to every day of the celebration.
The grand finale was held on 26th September 2026 in the auditorium, featuring captivating performances in Group Dance, Singing, Solo Dance and Fashion Show. The valedictory programme was graced by Prof. Amreen Banu, Principal, Mr. Gururaj, President, Mr. Muneer Ahmed, Program Director, along with faculty members and students. The programme commenced with an invocation song by Bhoomika NS, followed by a series of vibrant and engaging student performances.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony marked a significant moment of appreciation and recognition. Javeria Ma’am delivered the Prize Distribution speech, while Prof. Amreen Banu Ma’am, Mr. Gururaj and Mr. Muneer Ahmed presented the prizes to the winners, acknowledging their enthusiasm and achievements throughout the week.
Adding a special note of appreciation, Jashoda from B. Com Final Year and Trisha from BCA Final Year were recognised as the Star Performers of the Week for their consistent enthusiasm, active participation and contribution to the success of the celebration.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Jashoda, expressing gratitude to the management, dignitaries, faculty members, participants and students whose support and cooperation made CHIGURU 2.0 a meaningful and memorable celebration.
CHIGURU 2.0 concluded on a graceful note, leaving behind cherished memories and celebrating the remarkable spirit, talent and creativity of the GRV BMA student community.
