The Fresher's Day and Investiture Ceremony of GRV BMA Institute was held on 25 July 2026 at 10:30 AM in the college auditorium. The event was organized to warmly welcome the first-year students and officially introduce the newly elected Student Council for the Academic Year 2026–27.
The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Gururaj Mansabdar, President, Mrs. Poonam Sabharwal, Secretary, Principal Professor Amreen Banu, faculty members, staff, and students. The program commenced with a melodious invocation song by Namrutha and Trisha, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing the beginning of the auspicious occasion.
The formal session was hosted by Ms. Bhoomika N. S. and Mr. Shawn Christopher Das of BBA III Semester. Principal Professor Amreen Banu delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the freshers and encouraging them to make the best use of the opportunities available at the institution. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of discipline, academic excellence, ethical values, and adherence to the college's rules and regulations. She also motivated the students to actively participate in both academic and co-curricular activities throughout their college journey.
Mr. Gururaj Mansabdar, President of the institution, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech on the importance of education, leadership, personality development, and career planning. He encouraged the students to remain focused on their goals, develop confidence and essential skills, and strive for excellence in their academic and professional lives.
A key highlight of the event was the introduction of the Student Council members for the Academic Year 2026–27. The names of the newly elected office bearers and council members were announced and introduced to the gathering. The dignitaries congratulated the newly elected student leaders and encouraged them to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, teamwork, and commitment towards the institution and student community.
Adding excitement to the celebration, the Freshers' Day was organized around the creative "Angel and Devil" theme. The first-year students enthusiastically participated by dressing according to the theme and showcasing their confidence in a vibrant fashion show. Their creative costumes and energetic performances captivated the audience and became one of the major attractions of the event.
The celebration also featured a variety of colorful cultural performances, including dance and musical presentations by students. These performances reflected the talents and enthusiasm of the participants, creating a lively and festive atmosphere in the auditorium.
The formal session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Sowmya, BCA Faculty, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the Management, Principal, Faculty members, student coordinators, volunteers, participants, and everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the event.
The informal session was conducted by Hanifa and Jashoda, final-year B.Com students. The session included fun-filled games, interactive activities, dance performances, and entertainment programs that encouraged active participation from both freshers and senior students. The engaging activities and energetic performances created a joyful atmosphere, making the celebration more memorable for everyone present.
