On 30th November 2024, Vasan Eye Care, in collaboration with GRV Business Management Academy, successfully organized a Diabetic Awareness Rally aimed at promoting awareness about diabetes and its associated complications, particularly those affecting eye. Students from GRV Business Management Academy played a significant role in organizing the event. They assisted in planning the rally, coordinating logistics, and spreading awareness through social media campaigns.

To educate the public about the risks of diabetes, including diabetic retinopathy. To encourage regular health check-ups for early detection and prevention. To promote a healthier lifestyle to manage and prevent diabetes. Informative posters, banners, and placards were displayed, carrying messages about diabetes management, healthy diets, and the importance of physical activity. Healthcare professionals delivered engaging sessions on the impact of diabetes on vision and shared preventive strategies. Active participation including students, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and local community members.

The rally received an overwhelmingly positive response, raising awareness about diabetes and its implications on eye health. Many attendees expressed interest in adopting healthier lifestyles and committed to regular medical check-ups. The free screenings identified individuals requiring further medical attention, underscoring the significance of early detection.
