During the session, Mr. V. Prabhakar initially gave the introduction to stock market and its working. He spoke about the simple and effective way to invest money in stock market by opening a DEMAT Account and the trading rules. He also threw some light on capital market where savings and investments are moved between suppliers of capital and those who are in need of capital. Further he discussed about primary and the secondary market where securities are traded between investors.
Different products of stock exchange, available products at BSE, trading of Equity shares, investment in mutual funds and also in gold bonds were discussed.
The session was very informative and interesting which encouraged many students to start investing in a systematic way at BSE and mutual funds.
The students queries were well received by the resource person and their doubts were clarified.
